On 31.7. EGT Express has reached a major milestone in its development. We have launched a new scheduled service on the route Ostrava (Leos Janacek Airport - OSR) - Tashkent (Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport- TAS).

We provide comprehensive services and ensure loading, handling, customs procedures and insurance and especially air-truck deliveries throughout Central Asia. Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan are currently served and we expect to expand our services soon. Our offer also includes door-to-door service and online cargo tracking.

Shipments from around the world (including the EU, USA, China, ...) will be handled from Ostrava twice a week by Boeing 767. Departures are scheduled on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Within this regular line, transport from the Chinese Urumqi to Ostrava starts in the opposite direction. In collaboration with our Chinese partners, EGT supports the takeover of goods (including e-commerce), customs formalities and distribution within the EU.

We celebrated the arrival of the first aircraft on Wednesday, 31.7. around 9:00 am, together with our partners. We would like to use this opportunity to thank everybody who cooperates and supports us to realize this new project: Ostrava Airport and Uzbekistan Airways in particular, but also many advisors and other partners without whom it would not be possible.

The use of air transport offers our customers a significant benefit of shortening transport times. Within Central Asia, deliveries take place within 24 - 72 hours. At the same time, air transport is very safe and environmentally friendly. Both Urumqi and Tashkent were important centers on the historic Silk Road. In a sense, we understand our new service as an opportunity to build on the tradition of this important business road. We strongly believe that using our services will exceed all your expectations.
